This article tells how Bain and Company captures lessons learned by using interviewing and other journalism techniques. Journalism -- including technical writing, corporate communications, investor relations, and public relations -- has three things to offer knowledge base publishers:

  1. Mastery of the print medium -- still desirable for convenience and portability.
  2. Reporting and interviewing skills.
