Prior to founding the Montague Institute in 1992, Jean did workshops for the American Chemical Society, the Pittsburgh Analytical Conference, the American Association of Physics Teachers, the University of Vermont, and Fermilab on how to interface microcomputers with laboratory equipment in colleges and universities.
