How to get university credit for Montague Institute courses
You can often get credit for a Montague Institute course in a university degree program. Nearly all graduate level programs offer the option for an independent study, practicum, or field experience. Montague Institute courses fit into any of these categories for degrees in information management, knowledge management, and similar interdisciplinary programs.
To get university credit for a Montague Institute course, follow these steps:
1. Notify your faculty advisor or academic director
that you would like to take an outside course to fulfill part of your
degree requirements. You may be asked to forward additional information
from the Montague Institute, such as a syllabus listing weekly assignments,
and readings.
2. Discuss your intentions with your supervisor and team, especially if your company is contributing to your education. Since all Montague Institute courses are based on real-world scenarios, you'll want to select a project that will contribute to the company's objectives.
3. After you get university approval to take the course, call us to register and make arrangements to pay the course fee. Most people pay by credit card, but we can also invoice your company. We must receive payment before you can begin.
4. The university may also ask you to register (and pay for) an independent study course.
5. After you've completed the course, the university may ask you to submit certain materials, such as a copy of your final project report, your exported Lab data, and a letter from the Montague Institute stating your letter grade.
